Are you taller than a Herc tire? Come find out! The RCAF Memorial Airpark gives visitors an extensive, up-close experience not possible in most Museums. The 16 acres located just outside the south doors of the Museum are home to a vast array of aircraft and aircraft support equipment that were, or are, in service with the Air Force both in Canada and abroad. Plus, it’s a perfect place for a sunny afternoon picnic!
Check out the Interactive Airpark Map for a sneak preview of your visit.
Lining the airpark pathways are over 11 000 Ad Astra memorial stones. The stones honour past and present Air Force individuals with the inscription of their name and hometown on granite markers. Ad Astra Stones can be acquired through a donation to the NAFMC.
Also located in the Airpark are 39 monuments that represent various squadrons, sections and associations.
