All visitors over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask or face covering during their visit to the NAFMC. Masks may be removed outdoors in the Air Park but physically distancing is required. Please note that masks are available for sale on site.
Yes, all museum visitors over the age of 12 are required to provide proof of vaccination via QR code accompanied by a valid piece of ID.
The NAFMC is located on federal property and falls under the jurisdiction of CFB / 8 Wing Trenton. By order of the Wing Commander (8 Wing / CFB Trenton) visitors are still required to provide proof of vaccination following March 1, 2022.
We have temporarily closed interactive components and high-touch exhibits in order to keep our visitors safe. This includes: • Aircraft simulators • Cessna • Dress-up station • Halifax viewing monitors • Morse Code station The remainder of our exhibits are still open for viewing. We encourage all visitors to be mindful of the objects on display and avoid touching exhibit components and display cases.
No, visitors do not need to pre-purchase tickets. Admission can be paid on entry. For admission rates, please visit our Admission page.
No, the Museum is currently operating at 100% capacity.
Our snack bar and water fountains are currently closed. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle to the Museum. Other food and drink is not permitting in the Museum, but we are located across the street from Tim Horton’s and CANEX where food and drink can be purchased.
Yes, we are still accepting artefact donations at this time. However, we do not accept walk-in donations. All artefact donations must be pre-approved and pre-scheduled with the Museum’s curatorial team before entering the Museum, at which time they will be placed in a 14-day quarantine.
Yes, our Gift Shop is open and limited to 10 customers at a time. You may be asked to queue before entering.
Unfortunately we are not able to accept any book/magazines donations at this time.
Yes, the museum is still accepting cash but we encourage payment by credit or debit.
For public health safety reasons the coat check is closed.
No, the database is currently closed. However, ask a volunteer at the front desk and they will be happy to look up a location for you.
Yes, wheelchairs are still available on a first come first served basis. Wheelchairs and other mobility aids are sanitized upon return.
Yes, the elevator is still available but limited to one family/group at a time.
All tours of the Halifax and CC-130 Hercules have been suspended.
