CC-130 HERCULES

Tours of the CC-130 Hercules can be scheduled for school and camp groups by contacting the NAFMC Education Department.

Summer Tour Schedule

Please note that there is currently no regular schedule for tours of the CC-130 Hercules. Individual tours of the aircraft are not available. 

Tours of the CC-130 Hercules may be available on special event days. 

Other Aircraft

Tours of other NAFMC aircraft may be available on special event days throughout the year. The aircraft most often open for tours are: 

  • CC-129 Dakota
  • CC-144 Challenger
  • CH-113 Labrador
  • CH-147 Chinook
  • CH-124 Sea King

HALIFAX NA 337

Halifax Tours by Donation

Book an exclusive tour of Handley Page Halifax NA 337 – the world’s only fully restored Second World War Halifax Bomber! Our expert guides will share the story of NA 337’s final mission, recovery, and restoration as you explore the interior of this iconic aircraft.

Guided tours are available with a minimum donation of $100 per person to the National Air Force Museum of Canada.

(On 1 April 2025 the minimum required donation for a tour of Halifax NA 337 will be increasing).

Due to the age, configuration, and fragility of NA 337: 

  • All visitors must be 18 years of age or older
  • Tours can accomodate two (2) visitors at a time
  • Visitors cannot sit in rear gunner, pilot, or navigator positions
  • Visitors must be physically fit enough to climb in and out and manoeuver through the aircraft at an incline

We suggest booking a tour in advance as we cannot guarantee Halifax tour guides will be available during your visit. Tours can be requested by filling out the form below, tours are only available during regular Museum operating hours. Please allow five (5) business days for a response. If you have questions you can contact our Education Department directly.

Halifax Complimentary Tours

Complimentary tours are available for Veterans who flew in or supported Halifax Operations during the Second World War. Veterans must be physically fit to enter the aircraft and can be accompanied by one (1) additional guest.
