TIME, TALENT, DEDICATION
Averaging over 50,000 visitors a year, the National Air Force Museum of Canada is able to open our doors and share the story of Canada’s air force thanks to an incredible team of over 120 volunteers. The volunteer program has been an active and essential component of the Museum since it first opened in April 1984. Today, our volunteers collectively contribute over 30,000 hours annually, offering their time, talent, and dedication to support nearly every aspect of operations.
NAFMC Volunteers come from all walks of life. They are veterans, currently serving military members, and civilians who are motivated to contribute, share knowledge, and donate their time to support the Museum’s mission. In turn, the NAFMC strives to maintain a rewarding and meaningful role for our volunteers.

Are you looking to make a difference in a big way? Consider volunteering with a group or organization.
Our Group Volunteer program is a way for your group or organization to give back to the community. Volunteers will spend the day outside in the RCAF Memorial Airpark to help with yard maintenance and general landscaping in Canada’s largest living monument dedicated to Canadian air force personnel.
All Volunteer Groups can include a tour of the Museum and the CC-130 Hercules.
