In the activity package you will find the following, all ready to print:
– Story of the Silver Dart for younger audience
– Set of cue cards with images to help the listener retell the story (to be printed and cut out)
– Story of the Silver Dart for an older audience
– Set of reading comprehension questions to be answered after the story was read (can also be used by ESL learners)
– French version of the reading comprehension questions (can be used by both, French speaking ESL and English speaking FSL students)
– A short math exercise to calculate the surface area of a kite
– Coloring sheet showing the Silver Dart in flight (of course you can always draw your own from scratch)
– A writing exercise to help McCurdy and Baldwin pitch their invention
